Body Love Invest it Now Girls!
The B.L.I.N.G. Project views girls’ healthy development as stemming from an experience of positive and caring relationships with those in her family, peer group, and community. Girls’ connections with others, especially primary relationships such as family, peers, and her community, influence girls’ behaviour and social-emotional health.
The B.L.I.N.G. Project provides a structured group for girls from 9-18 years old. Groups are 2 hours each week for 6 consecutive weeks. A topic relevant to girls is explored during each weekly session and activities such as clay, collage, journaling, and painting are incorporated into each session which allows for expression through arts.
